SEO and GEO: get found on Google and in AI answers

We find what keeps your site out of Google and AI answers, fix it and build pages that answer the questions your buyers ask. GEO, generative engine optimization, is the work of getting your business named and linked when ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google AI Overviews answer. Most of it is SEO, so one plan covers both.

What you get

  • Technical SEO

Indexing, canonicals, redirects, XML sitemaps, hreflang and page speed: the checks that decide whether Google can find and show your pages at all. On a site built from templates we fix the template, so the fix reaches every page.

  • Access for AI crawlers

Rules in robots.txt and your CDN that let OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot and Googlebot in, and a deliberate choice on training crawlers such as GPTBot. A site that blocks a search crawler can drop out of that tool's answers.

  • Pages that answer buyer questions

We list the 20–30 questions buyers ask before they choose a provider and give each one a page that answers it in the first lines, with your own figures, process and cases: facts an AI answer can only get from you.

  • Schema markup

Structured data for your company, services, products, articles and breadcrumbs, so search engines read each page the way you mean it and it can earn rich results. Google says AI answers need no special markup of their own.

  • Programmatic SEO

Hundreds or thousands of pages from your own data, each with facts the others lack, so none of them is a reworded copy. For Gastro.News, an Austrian restaurant guide, that meant 2,600+ restaurant pages and 32 ranked hubs.

  • AI visibility tracking

Every month we put the same buyer questions to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode in a fresh session and log who gets named and linked, next to Search Console's Generative AI report.

How we work

  1. Audit and baseline

We check indexing, AI crawler access, speed, markup and content on the pages that bring in buyers, and log where you stand today: Search Console data and a first round of buyer questions in AI assistants.

  2. Map the questions

With your sales team we list the questions buyers ask before they sign and match each one to a page that answers it, or to a page that still needs writing.

  3. Fix the foundation

Indexing, redirects, canonicals, speed and markup come first. A page that is not indexed and eligible to show with a snippet can't appear in Google's AI features, whatever its copy says.

  4. Pages and mentions

We write or rework the pages on the map with your figures, process and named experts, and work on what other sites say about you: reviews, directories and articles, none of them bought.

  5. Measure and report

Every month we rerun the question panel, read Search Console and server logs for AI crawler visits, and show what changed against the baseline. Then we choose the next pages to work on.

Questions we get asked

What is generative engine optimization (GEO)?

GEO is the work of getting your business named and linked when ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google AI Overviews answer a question. These tools search the web before they answer, so GEO pulls the same levers as SEO: crawler access, pages that answer the exact question and what other sites say about you. Answer engine optimization (AEO) is another name for the same work.

GEO, AEO and AI search: a glossary of 12 terms

GEO vs SEO: does GEO replace SEO?

No, it builds on SEO. Google's guide to generative AI search, updated in July 2026, calls optimizing for it "still SEO", and ChatGPT and Perplexity also answer from search results. What changes is what winning looks like: your name and link inside the answer, not only a place in the list of results.

How do we get cited by ChatGPT or show up in Google AI Overviews?

Start with access: the page has to be indexed and able to show with a snippet, and OAI-SearchBot and PerplexityBot have to be allowed in robots.txt and your CDN. Then give each buyer question one page that answers it in the first lines, with facts only you have, and earn mentions on other sites. No one can guarantee a citation, so we don't promise one.

How long does SEO take to show results?

It depends on what is broken, how strong the competition is and how many pages need writing. Technical fixes count once search engines recrawl the pages; after a robots.txt fix, OpenAI says its search can take about 24 hours to adjust. New pages and mentions take longer, so we log a baseline at the start and make the first fair comparison after about three months. We don't promise positions or dates.

How much do SEO and GEO services cost?

The price depends on the size of the site, what the audit finds, how many pages need writing or rework and how many languages the site runs in: each language multiplies content and SEO work. You get an estimate after a call about your site.

What does an SEO and GEO audit check?

Whether search engines and AI assistants can find, read and trust your site: crawling and indexing, AI crawler access, speed, markup, content quality, local profiles and visibility in AI answers. Our SEO & GEO check covers your home page and up to 9 more pages, seen the way Google, Bing and AI crawlers see them. The paid audits go deeper, on more pages, with a fix for every issue.

What is AI visibility, and how do you track it?

It is how often AI answers name and link your business for the questions your buyers ask. For Google, the Generative AI report in Search Console shows how often links to your site appeared in AI Overviews and AI Mode. ChatGPT and Perplexity give site owners no report, so we ask them the same buyer questions every month, in a fresh session, and log who gets named.

Do we need llms.txt or special schema for AI?

Neither is required. Google Search ignores llms.txt, and Ahrefs found that 97% of llms.txt files got zero requests in May 2026; we publish one on our own site but don't expect citations from it. Google also says there is no special schema.org markup for AI. Standard markup still earns rich results, so it stays in the plan.

Will a redesign or a new platform cost us our rankings?

A redesign loses search traffic when old URLs stop answering, page copy disappears or a noindex tag ships from the test site. So every old URL gets a 301 redirect to its closest new page, and the copy that ranks moves with it. When we rebuilt the Barber & Co store in Minsk, every old catalog address redirected, with zero 404s in the post-move check.

Redesign a website without losing SEO

Do you work with companies in the US and the UAE?

Yes. For Encore, a PR, media and events agency in Dubai, we replaced an 8-page site with no meta descriptions and 38 H1 tags on the homepage with 34 pages that each have one H1 and a meta description, plus schema, Open Graph and llms.txt. For the US market we built the Shopify store of Esturión de Sarrión, a Spanish caviar farm, which scores 100 for SEO in Lighthouse on mobile and desktop.
