What nextgensoft.co stores in your browser, what our analytics counts, and how to switch it off.
In short
nextgensoft.co sets no cookies of its own. It keeps a few settings in your browser's local storage and counts visits with Umami, an analytics tool we host ourselves that uses no cookies and does not identify you. You can switch analytics off at any time below.
What we store on your device
Local storage, kept until you change the setting or clear your browser data:
ngs-theme: your light or dark theme.ngs-lang: the language you picked with the EN / RU button, so the site opens in it next time.ngs-consent: your answer to the cookie banner, andumami.disabledwhen you turned analytics off.ngs-audit-recent,ngs-audit-recent-mock: your last three SEO & GEO audit checks, for 30 days.ngs-audit-tracked:…: marks that an audit event was already counted, so a reload is not counted twice.
Session storage, cleared when you close the tab: ngs-audit-mode and ngs-audit-mock-runs, used by the audit's demo mode.
None of this is sent to us; it stays in your browser.
Analytics
We use Umami, self-hosted at analytics.nextgensoft.co. It sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses. It records the page, the referring site, the browser, device type and country, and a few events in our tools (for example, that an audit was started). The data stays on our server and is not shared with advertisers or anyone else.
Other services
When you open Calendly to book a call, WhatsApp to message us, or another service we link to, that service may set its own cookies under its own policy. We do not control them.
Your choice
Analytics runs until you decline it. You can change your answer here; it applies to this browser. Clearing your browser data removes all of the settings above.
