In a resort town full of spas, a therapist who treats the cause

Larisa is a clinical manual therapist in Alanya, on Türkiye's Mediterranean coast, with over 20 years of practice. We designed her brand from scratch and built a website that opens in English, Finnish or Russian, whichever language the patient's browser speaks.

The challenge

Alanya sells massage on every corner: hotel spas, beach salons, an hour of relaxation to music. Larisa works differently: diagnostics first, then kinesiology, osteopathic techniques and therapeutic massage aimed at the cause of the pain. She sees four to six patients a day, and they speak three languages: English-speaking expats, Finns who winter on the coast and Russian speakers. She needed a brand that reads as a clinic, not a spa, and a site that talks to every patient in their own language.

Our approach

We built the brand around her own words: I don't do spa massage, I restore health. Deep clinical brown and warm amber instead of spa pastels, a knot mark with a Federo wordmark, and Libre Caslon italics for her voice. The site starts from the pain, not a menu of treatments: four problem areas, her method, four clinical standards and real reviews. It picks English, Finnish or Russian from the browser, so a patient from Helsinki lands on Finnish without touching a switch.

In a town that sells relaxation by the hour, the most persuasive line was her own: I don’t do spa massage.

What we did

01

Brand

A knot mark and a Federo wordmark, a palette of clinical brown, amber and two creams, and Libre Caslon italics for the lines in Larisa's own voice. Arched photos and a sparkle star repeat across every page, and five Instagram highlight covers carry the brand into her profile.

  • Knot mark and Federo wordmark
  • Four colors, from ink to cream
  • Three typefaces: Federo, Libre Caslon, Inter
  • Five Instagram highlight covers

02

A home page that starts from the pain

Patients arrive with a sore neck or a stiff back, so the page opens with four pain areas and what usually sits behind each one. Then Larisa introduces herself in her own words, lists four clinical standards and lets patients leave a review with a photo and a star rating.

  • Four pain areas, each traced to its cause
  • Her voice: I don't do spa massage
  • Four standards, from sterility to timing
  • Review form with a photo and stars

03

Three languages

The site reads the browser's language and opens in English, Finnish or Russian, with a switch in the header for anyone who wants another. Every treatment has its own page in all three, and a filter sorts them into massage, body and face.

  • EN, FI and RU picked from the browser
  • Language switch in the header
  • Four treatments, a page for each
  • Filter by massage, body and face
